As someone who need his own space, but was not yet in a position to out fit an entire apartment with new furniture, Make Yourself at Home helped me get the perfect little furnished space in a great neighborhood. The rent is reasonable and I can now take my time and save money to set myself up in the future.

We have used the services that Make Yourself At Home provides for both renting our furnished apartment and for finding a furnished place to rent while our place was undergoing renovations.

The people at MYAH are polite, friendly and very helpful. The were prompt in reply to our queries. When we were looking for a place to rent, they provided a list of available places. Once we decided on a place, it was easy to make the reservation and coordinate check-in.

As a home owner, I have been dealing with Make Yourself at Home for over six years. The services that they have provided over that time have been absolutely fantastic. Put simply, were it not for MYAH, I would have long given up renting out my suite a long time ago. I do acknowledge that there are many avenues for home owners to rent out their suites. In addition to AirBNB, there are also vacation rental sites and of course there is also Craigslist. The one difference between MYAH and these other sites is the personal care they take to ensure a perfect fit between the guest and the rental property. As a careful background check is done for each rental, I have the comfort of knowing that each tenant will leave my suite in good condition. I would far rather pay the fees for such a service than having the uncertainty of not knowing who I am dealing with through a Craigslist inquiry.

Thanks to Make Yourself at Home we found a very nice little suite (#510) to stay in while in Vancouver for a month. It was easy to rent and all transactions went very smoothly. The suite was comfortable and in a terrific location, close to parks and to Main Street. It had all the facilities we needed, the owners are very friendly and helpful, and even the neighbours made us feel welcome. Our dog enjoyed the backyard and all the great walks in the neighbourhood.

I rented from MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME in December and have been thoroughly satisfied with all the services provided, both by the office staff (prompt replies and easy communication) and from the apartment owner of no.123 (Kitsilano 10th and Arbutus). This apartment is indeed fully equipped and in a very convenient location, within easy walking distance to many sights and shopping areas, on good transit routes both from the airport and to/from downtown. It was the perfect re-location choice!

I have been using MYAH for approximately 3 years and it has been a wonderful experience. They screen their potential renters, unlike Craigs List or Air B&B, and in so doing ensure that I receive only high caliber people. We were looking for a house in Kitsilano in Vancouver, Canada for one month. An via Make Yourself At Home we found the perfect place with an equivalent perfect landlord. The house is on Trafalgar Street which is a quiet street in the wonderful aera of Kitsilano. 5-15 minutes to everywhere (forest, beach, shopping street, great food, playground, hospital, downtown) - you name it, it's there. Vancouver itself is an amazing place on earth. If we could, we would stayed for longer. The house fits for 2 to 3 persons. It totally new and very chic inside. You feel like home from the first moment. All equipment you'll need inside and of high quality. Most of the people passing the house stop for a moment because the garden is so full of flowers and plants. If you miss anything, the neighbors and landlords help you instantly. We really enjoyed our month in Vancouver and hope that we can come back some time.

We had a great time in Vancouver over the Thanksgiving long weekend. Our suite was perfect. Jean and Jen were great to deal with. The park was right across from the street for our morning stroll and to shop at the Farmer's market on Saturday.
